The garden, flowers and small pool at the Old Lahaina House first captured our interest on the Internet. We found an oasis in a quiet neighbourhood outside Lahaina. Very near the beach. (Travelling with 2 teenaged boys.) Easy parking for our rental car right there. The pool room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. We travelled all over Maui. Whenever we asked, we received excellent advice and assistance in making our plans from Sherry and Gary. We appreciated their knowledge and love of Maui!

The atmosphere was very relaxed with a real sense of being accommodated within the family domain. The ambiance was relaxed and casual and the setting very interesting (not a typical condo/hotel "sterile" environment but a quirky, interesting one).
The wifi connection was poor and necessitated use in a public space which was not ideal.

Loved the staff and the convenience of the location.
Needs a little touch up on the details.

I loved the Old Lahaina House, I would have liked to stay there longer. It was clean, comfortable, friendly. The location is close to the beach, close to shopping. Great spot. Ideal if you are travelling alone.

The location is not the best. If you don't have a car you are pretty much got stuck there.

Location and nice swimming pool. Handy microwave in bedroom. Helpful staff.
No outside sign to indicate name of house so couldn't easily locate it. Outside and pool area looked like a backpackers hostel, very scruffy and untidy. My bedroom was ok but no housekeeping at all. I.E. no linen changes or room cleaning the entire week I stayed there. Towels and some bed linen stained..

Proximity to the beach and city of Lahaina. Nice patio area with big table and pool.
The rusty old truck with it's front hood up and dead palm fronds hanging out the back end. It was right outside the front entrance gate.
